When do you take your OPK test?

I’m a little confused when I need to take my  OPK tests. I took one yesterday morning as soon as I woke up and it said I had an LH surge (faint lines but positive), this morning it was negative, but at 2pm it was positive again (with strong lines). 
Some advice would be awesome!! Thanks ladies ☺️

LH is said to be highest in afternoon, like 1-4pm. But you can take it first thing in AM or in afternoon. The key is to be consistent and test same time each day. You can also test both AM and mid-day once you get closer to ovulation, so you don’t miss it.
