Can you get oral thrush from your baby ?!

My three month old is dealing with thrush.  Now all of a sudden my throat is a tad sore and uncomfortable, I had this horrible foul taste in my mouth, and my taste buds are red and inflamed. We are not breastfeeding so I didn’t catch it that way.

You can, but it is unlikely. It's common to spread from baby's mouth to your nipple with breastfeeding. But getting it in your mouth while bottle feeding is rare. The yeast from a thrust infection is in everyone mouth naturally. Adults usually don't get an oversaturation of it because our immune systems are better and do a better job of maintaining it to the right level. So yes, it can happen. But it really isn't likely to. Thrush first appears on the inside of an infected person's cheeks and looks like milk curds. It later spreads to the tongue.
