after you give birth? lmao. i’m 17w and really curious!

It started smelling when my mom gave birth to my little brother. My dad just looked disgusted the entire time 😂 but me, I was fine, it didn’t bother me as much because I was so excited (I was 16) and I was actually interested in seeing my brother come out! (Plus I got to cut the cord!!!)

I had no idea this was even a concern. Lol. I don’t remember any smell when I had my son, but I’m sure it probably did, all that stuff stewing closed off in the same fluid for nearly a year 🤷🏻‍♀️

You might not notice with everything going on. For me i just remember smelling my baby. It’s a unique smell. Now from the other end I’ve been told by nurses that birth usually smells bad and I’m not surprised.

The first thing I remember when my son was put onto my chest is that he smelled horrible 😂😂

I don't remember it smelling, but it probably did as all through labour I was drenched in sweat then I was quite bloody down below as I had a tear and a cut.
I got a bed bath after but I don't think that would have helped much.

I was right by my sisters side when she gave birth. When the baby comes out there is definitely a unique smell but it goes away shortly after clean up!
