Is it actually harder to birth a large baby?

Just wondering, everyone has so much anxiety about how big the baby is, everyone acts like a 10lb baby will ruin your vagina, but I don't understand how birthing a 7-8lb baby should be so much easier? 10 lbers dimensions aren't that drastically different are they?

My bigger baby was actually the easier delivery.

My baby was exactly 9lbs. She came out with no issue. I think it’s mostly the shoulders they worry about. She did tear me in 4 places though.

My first was 7lb 11oz, and he was quick (5 hours 25 minutes) and easy.
My second was 9lb 8oz, and he was even quicker (an hour) and still easy. Can't say for certain if it was easier, because it was that quick I didn't really have time to process it.
I think it's mostly a psychological thing, but also partly because with bigger babies you don't have to contract as much to push them out because there's not the space to (if that makes sense?)

My first was 6lb and I loved the birth my second was 8lb and I swore after that pain that I would never do it again, and here I am 8 year later trying to do it again so Musnt  have been that bad 😂

I’ve birthed a 9lb 13oz baby and an 8lb 2oz baby, and the 8lb one was without meds (not by choice). I felt far worse after my almost 10lb baby and it took me far longer to push her out. 
Unpopular opinion: it pisses me off when women brag about having an unmedicated, “natural” birth but their babies are smaller than 7 lbs. girl please I could sneeze that out.
