Abdominal Ultrasound @ 6 weeks

Went in for my first appointment today and did an abdominal ultrasound.

We weren’t sure how far long I was because I have long irregular cycles (35-45 days).

During the ultrasound the gestational sack measured at 6w1d, earlier than I thought but makes sense as to why I didn’t get morning sickness until this morning 😂

Couldn’t see the baby or the heartbeat, only the yolk sack but doctor didn’t seem concerned whatsoever and didn’t bother with doing a transvaginal ultrasound because he felt good about what he saw.

I feel happy because the doctor felt confident and now I go back in about 2 weeks on April 18th.

Now I’m wondering if I should be more concerned though or just trust in my doctors confidence??

Anyone else have a similar first appointment and go on to have health pregnancies?
