Are you doing the NT scan and bloodwork?

I did mine today. They did blood work and an NT scan to measure fluid. Anything over 3 is a concern. Ours was .06, so now we just wait for the blood work results. They, also, said they check the nose as an indicator for downs. They showed me my babies nose and said it looked good. They explained why, but pregnancy brain makes it hard for me to retain all info lately. However, I gathered an under developed nose can be a sign of of possible issues.

here was my experience:

I sat in the little office with a genetic counselor who wrote down my genetic history and the history of my husband. She told me the risk of chromosome disorders without any tests and asked me to decide if I really wanted to do the test. I told her yes. She explained what possible results there could be. There was an ultrasound that took a long time. My baby was not in the right position for the measurements needed so the tech kept punching and jiggling my stomach with the wand thingie. My stomach felt sore for 2 days after.

The nurse pricked my finger and I had to put 5 drops of blood on a piece of paper. And that was it for that day.

They called me back exactly 1 week later and said my results were flagged for having a higher risk for down syndrome (1 in 165). They offered the panorama test to determine with 99% accuracy if my baby has down syndrome. I ended up doing that test they next day. They took 3 small tubes of blood. I was told I will get the result in about 10 business days.
