Days and Nights mixed up?

Question

Anyone else experience their baby being an angel during the day, naps and feeds well, but will NOT accept being put down at night? She either wants to be latched or snuggled. During the day she will literally sleep anywhere and through anything but at night I can hardly put her down without so much screaming. Is this just day and night confusion? Anyone have any tips? She is only a week + 2 days.

I'm pretty lucky that my almost 1 month old sleeps at night like she does during the day. She is up every 3 hours for her 4oz bottle,diaper change and goes back to sleep until her next feeding.

Have you tried a white noise machine or app on your phone? Sometimes the business and sounds of the day are soothing to them and night is just too quiet. 
One thing we’ve done is keep the house bright and curtains open at day, and house dark with night lights only at night (even for diaper changes and feeding) and this has worked well for us so far. Baby is only 11days oldnso I know too early to be a proper routine yet

This is normal.  Babies don’t really have their circadian rhythm worked out for a while, they are pretty disorganized around the clock for 4-6 weeks.

Yep. That's why I cracked and started cosleeping when I said i was not going to. I couldn't get any sleep when she would wake up as soon as I put her in her bassinet. Since cosleeping i sleep easily and she does too. 😴😖

Yes, we are in the same boat. He’s perfect ALL day and then between 12-3:30 we can’t get him to sleep. I was told to keep it really bright during the day and make it dark at night🤷‍♀️ Not sure this will help at all. I’m open to ideas if anyone has any!

Yes mine too! So frustrating cuz I’m so loud during the day but she falls asleep immediately. Night time - eyes wide open !! 🙄

Mine is that way right now. And he loves the sun, but it makes him sleep.
