LH surge for period?

I know that some women get an LH surge before AF shows her face, but does anyone know about how far before that could be detected? For instance you Ovulate 12-36 hours after LH surge mid cycle now what if your LH surge is later/ around period how soon should AF be expected.

I didn’t get a positive LH until CD 29 and I’m not even sure it was positive so I’ll put it below but I’m worried it was just an AF surge. Thanks for any help.
