Low lying placenta?

Question

Anyone have any experience with a low lying placenta (placenta is cover all or part of the cervix)? I just got word that my ultrasound showed it and the doctor said it might correct itself, but just curious if anyone has any experiences with it?

I had that with my first pregnancy. They said if it didn’t self correct, a c-section would be necessary. But as my uterus grew, the placenta naturally moved up and it was no issue at all. Had a healthy pregnancy and vaginal birth!

Following... the found this at my 20 week also, I’m a FTM curious to see if anyone’s moved enough for vaginal birth that was fully covering at 20 weeks.

I had this with my first pregnancy. They put me on pelvic rest for 2 weeks and when they checked the next time it was corrected. Not sure if it was the pelvic rest or if it was already going to move to it's right place but it seems more likely to be nothing to worry about.

I’ve got a low placenta too, partially covering my cervix, have to go back at 32w for a scan to check it’s moved out of the way. The sonographer said it usually corrects itself as your uterus grows xx
