I couldn’t believe it...

So I’m a caregiver to an older lady.

She isn’t a very nice lady. It’s not that she just went senile, she just was never really a nice person, I won’t go into detail tho for obvious reasons. Plus this isn’t a rant, more or less a funny story of what happened today.

So I gave her breakfast, and while she’s eating I decided to clean. By the time I was finished, she was still finishing up her coffee. I decided to have my breakfast, which was just an apple.

I normally don’t brush my teeth in the morning because 1/3 of the time, I throw up. If I have somewhere to go, I can normally just brush my teeth with water and then use mouthwash until later. I decided to brush my teeth today tho, because my gums were bleeding and I had pieces of apple stuck in my teeth.

Of course, I start throwing up. And this time, i didn’t know if it was going to ever end. 😂 I had to of thrown up 5/6 times in a row. While I’m getting sick, I can hear this little old lady saying something to me in the other room.

I can’t make out what she’s saying because I’m hacking between each “surprise”.

For some stupid reason, I thought she was asking if I was okay.

But when I felt like I was done, I turned the corner and said “sorry, I couldn’t hear you”

And she responds “I need a tissue”

My face was like..

So this lady was calling for me to give her a tissue while she can hear I’m in the middle of dying. Wasn’t waiting until I was done. Doesn’t ask if I’m okay. Nothing. 😂😂😂

She needed a damn tissue.

And to make it worse, she still had a decent amount of tissue on her to blow her nose/wipe it if it was running because I had JUST given her a tissue (because she asked for it) before I decided to brush my teeth. 😂
