I don't see the point of throwing the book at this girl. Child exploitation is a serious issue, and should be treated as such. However, putting her on the registry will only result in impairing her. Something like community service is much more fair in this case.

the age of consent should be brought up to 18 though. i honestly believe that if they deem 16 year olds responsible enough to have sex then they should be accountable for their bodies. if not, the age of consent should be moved up.
