Period started and then stopped 1 1/2 days later and then started again?

Okay I’m not sure what is going on. My husband and I had a lot of sex during my fertile week. My period was suppose to be here April 6th. So on March 31st I had pink spotting with a tinge of red. Then The next day and half of yesterday I had bright red blood nothing like my usually period and no cramps.. I stopped bleeding completely from yesterday to today at 4pm when I started having cramps and bleeding.. Has anyone had this happen to them?

I am breastfeeding my 2 yr old. No fertility issues, NO PCOS etc..
