Baby shower vent

My husband and I have always been pretty independent. On our registry, we put cheaper things on them. The most expensive was the camera monitor thingy from Target. We have already bought the stroller, car seat, bottles, crib and dresser. And planned on getting other things on our own because well, we dont like people buying shit for us.

Well, now this is where it get stupid. My sister found the crib and dresser for about 50-75% off at Sears. She sent us pictures and asked if we wanted her to get it. We said "sure, we will pay you back."

Our baby shower is on the 13th and my sister and my MIL and SIL have been coordinating it all. I guess my SIL said we had nothing practical on our registries. And I guess her and my sister talked or something...I dont know. I'm just the mom Carrying the baby and getting put into the middle🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️. Anyways, now my husband is pissed because my sister told my in laws that she got us the crib and dresser. But my husband is mad because we paid for it and hes under the impression that shes telling them that she paid for it. So he texts me saying he's not going to put up with that. And we'll pay for everything if that's what shes going to do.

I responded with I'm sure she didnt mean it like that, I'm sure she meant it like we have one because she picked it up for us. And i told him I'd appreciate if you wouldn't do that too me over something that I'm sure I'd a miscommunication.

Ugh. Anyways.... I'm going to eat chips and queso for dinner.
