So I just found out about my states legal restrictions for midwives assisting in births at a birthing center or in home. This is in southern Louisiana, I’m not sure if it’s a state wide thing or just in my area but our midwives are not allowed to handle these:

• no VBAC

• no twins, triplets, etc.

• pregnant women with diabetes, HIV, hepatitis b or c, epilepsy, narcotics addiction, and a birth that would require a C-section

What retractions do you have to deal with?
