I was induced. I had a foley balloon put in my cervix at around 1am. Started pitocin at 7am. Around noon I noticed there was bloody water coming out of the end of the hose that the balloon was attached to. It was my water

My water broke at 39 weeks and I wasn’t dilated or effaced AT ALL. It was like the movies - water breaks and then you go to the hospital. Lol. My labor had to be induced and it lasted 43 hours.

My OB broke it...I guess?! Lol I had a c-section with gender anesthesia so I have no idea. My moms water broke few seconds before they open her up  so I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened to me too🤷🏼‍♀️

First kid: they broke mine when I reached 8 cm dilated and he was born an hour later. Second: my dr had to break my water once I reached 9.5 cm dilated. He was born 17 minutes later.
