Colic, silent reflux, or just needy?

I have a 4 week old baby who has turned out to be more high needs than I expected. He constantly wants to be nursing (or comfort nursing) or laying on my chest on his belly. If we put him down anywhere, he loses his mind.

Our first baby was so much more laid back, especially at this age. I’m a little nervous for my husband to go back to work soon because taking care of my toddler is going to be awfully challenging if I’m trapped on the couch with a baby on me.

Of course I’m going to ask the doctor at his appointment next week, but I’d love to hear input on what the problem could be. Or maybe this is just normal and our first child was an angel? Could it be silent reflux? He doesn’t spit up much but he wants to eat all the time.
