It was mother's day. I didn't expect the world just a little from my other half to know I'm appreciated. On the day (last Sunday) he said had ordered a gift which had to be made and it wouldn't come until the next day. It's been almost a week. If I had ordered something and it didn't come, I'd be annoyed. He hasn't mentioned a thing about it. He didn't buy me a card or anything. He got our daughter a baby grow with a cute message on it and he made no effort to put it on her. He made me breakfast that morning and I spent the rest of the day with my mum and daughter. I asked him if he could drive us and he seemed annoyed. I just didn't pay attention to him and didn't let him get me down. For dinner he decided to cook, although I had lots of left overs and I ate it anyway. I appreciated the food, but it felt like any other day. Maybe I just expected too much from him??? I really want to know about this gift though.
