Working while pregnant ?!

Anyone else plan on working while pregnant ? Was it hard (I'm sure it was) & how did you tell your boss?

I'm going back to work after I have my baby and recover. My husband and I can afford it. I just finished my master's degree program that I finished right after graduating with my bachelors in the top 10% of the college class. I don't think I am "lazy" or a "disappointment". There are serious and very real barriers that makes it difficult for some women to get a decent job while obviously pregnant.

I'm currently 21 weeks pregnant and have been working as a CNA for the past 3 years. I plan to work until I either go into labor or physically cannot work. It's exhausting but I think it's worth helping the time pass more quickly :)

I am working and will continue to do so. In my second trimester and I am still getting sick 4 or 5 times a week. My boss is supportive (although he kind of doesn't have a choice but to be) as are all of my coworkers.

I can't imagine not working or having something to occupy my time. I'm a teacher and love what I do.

I worked until Friday and gave birth Monday. I told them at 20 weeks. I traveled 80% of the time so I needed to fill in my travel schedule. At 30 weeks I decided to stay home permanently and told them around then that I wouldn't be returning at all.

I'm 36 weeks and still working. I'm extremely tired and cry almost everyday, but if I didn't go into work what else would I do? I definitely don't want to sit around being lazy for the next month, so work is a good way to keep my mind off things. I told my boss back at 7 weeks or so. I just walked in and told him. Very easy and painless.

I worked until 37 weeks then used two weeks holiday. I would have worked until 39/40 but my oh is a farmer and it was lambing time so he asked if I would finish sooner and help at home cooking meal for the staff etc

I'm a line cook and still working. Though all the food smells make my morning sickness TERRIBLE, cooking is my hobby/past time/career and I love what I do. Plan on staying as long as I can. I told my boss at 8 weeks, didn't wanna get sent home for morning sickness, that's not a contageouus illness!

Yep.  I'm in sales and currently 21 weeks.  It can be exhausting some days but still totally do it.  I'll keep traveling and working until my dr tells me to stop.

I work in hospitality, i am 10 1/2 weeks,  i have found the morning sickness very hard to deal with while at work, but as soon as that subsides i plan to work untill it is too dangerous or uncomfortbale.

I worked at the office until 34 weeks then I worked from home until 40 weeks. I had really bad sciatica which is why I worked from home towards the end. I told my boss I was pregnant around 6 weeks as my morning sickness was bad and I couldn't hide it. He was totally fine with it and very supportive 😊
