Deep latch disappeared at 5 weeks?

I’ve been nursing my baby exclusively. But recently he has been so gassy and windy, so I gave him gripe water using a 5ml syringe. Over the last 48 hours I’ve noticed that he isn’t taking my nipple all the way as he used to, making clicking sounds which makes him more gassy?!

We got him checked over for tongue ties etc at birth then again at 3 weeks.. any ideas on how I can get that latch back? It’s not causing me pain YET... but I know it’s not good for the long term.
