Has anyone gone into preterm labor due to a uti? I have a severe uti that I've only had for a few days. I went to the walk in clinic yesterday (my ob doctor couldn't get me in until next week) I explained to her my issue,she confirmed my uti, and I told her how I've been having contractions irregular.( I'm 21 weeks) she said I need to go right to the ob at the hospital and she never gave me an antibiotic for my uti due to her not being sure on what I can take. Well on my way to the hospital my ob doctor called and told me they could get me in tomorrow and that if my contractions aren't regular than I don't need to go to the hospital. Well last night I was having really strong contractions some where every five minutes then some were every ten. They weren't consistent. Has anyone gone into labor this early from a uti? My vitals were terrible at the doctors. My bp was 140/82 my pulse was high and my temp was 100. I'm really worried about waiting till my contractions are regular than having my baby early.
