What's it like when you see the first ultrasound?

Are you scared or excited? What are you feeling?

I was nervous to go to the doctor, afraid being pregnant was "all in my head" and then the doctor said immediately, "there's your baby!" And there it was. I was in love. And after a couple minutes of looking at them squirm she said, "and here's the heartbeat!" That sound was the best sound I have ever heard. It was the most amazing doctor appt. I have ever had.

Everyone is different. For me, it made my pregnancy feel more "real." Like, there's an actual living human inside of me right now! Instant, inexplicable love! ❤

There is no right or wrong answer to this. Some women get excited and fall in love immediately. Some women don't know what to do. I was one of the women that didn't know. Part of it was because I had a chemical the month before and was too scared to get attached. But I just kinda stared at the screen. At 8 weeks the baby looks like a kidney bean anyway.

I had my first ultra sound at 13 wks he looked like a little alien lol at least the shape of his head. But it was instant relief and love. I had been put  on meds by my ob at 6 weeks that I didn't know would hurt him, they made me try to miscarry and so I bled @ 6 & 10 wks each time I was told u was gonna lose him so at 13 wks I was just amazed he was still with me

Amazing! It's half of you and half of another person you (hopefully) love I was kind of nervous because there's always that what if but more excited then anything

I was so excited because it took my husband and I a year and a half to get pregnant . I just gave up and said it will never happen . Well when I got that positive test and blood work I was in shock but so happy . Then when I heard her little heart beat for the first time I was so blessed and happy.

When I saw my daughter on that screen (after my miscarriages and stillborn) I was so scared. I was so freaked out that you can hear me sobbing on the video.
