Am I the only one who gets asked this? If I’m sick I go and pick up my own prescriptions. If my car needs a tire change I do it myself.

My mother, of all people keeps asking me that. My mom has never depended on a man in her life. I grew up watching her do everything she needed to with no man. My man would gladly help with stuff if I asked but I don’t even think to ask him. If he’s around, he will do it for me and I don’t have to ask. But if he’s not around like what was happening earlier today where my mother asked me “you’re doing that? Where is your man?” I’m not gonna ask him. Because it never crosses my mind.

Me: the hell mother, I don’t know! Why do you ask me that all the time, you didn’t raise no sissy bitch! Quit asking me why I dont make my man do it! I have arms I can do it myself.” And my mom is still laughing and every time I go talk to her she says “sissy bitch hahahahaha”

Am I the only one? It’s not just her that asks me.. it’s just her who asks the most. They ask me that and Luke imply that he doesn’t help me..I don’t understand! Why does he HAVE to come and help me? Again he would if I asked but I don’t ask. Is he supposed to have telepathic powers and know when I need something?

Edit: this is a mumble mess but my mom didn’t call him a sissy bitch lol! I told my mom she didn’t raise me to be one because I was in the middle of doing some strenuous work and she asked me why I didn’t ask my man for help and I was like mom you didn’t raise me to be a sissy bitch and she thinks the phrase sissy bitch is hilarious lol
