Hi, my baby has been in the NICU for a week now due to a periodic breathing issue. We live at 6500 ft so altitude does tend to be an issue for the babies in this area but I’m originally from Texas so this is the first I’ve heard of this. Curious to hear from other moms who may of experienced this issue while living in higher altitude. How long did it take for your baby to stop the habit of taking breaks breathing? Also it sounds like we are going home with an oxygen tank no matter what, so I was curious how long your babies with a similar situation had to stay on oxygen? TIA
