Is this below minimum wage?

I’m 13 and got my first job around 4 months back. I am trying to save up for something fairly expensive and I work 3 hours a week making £5 an hour. I have watched lots of videos on youtube of people my age or around it, who make £50 a week and I don’t understand why their jobs would pay more. I work as a math and English tutor to little kids. Many on videos that I have seen have worked in a clothes store or fast food chain so I don’t understand what makes their income so much higher.

That’s a pound correct?
5 pounds is about $8 CAD, way way below our minimum wage which is $12.60 in my province. Higher in others.
But even 10 years ago when I was babysitting I still made like $10-$20 an hour babysitting. I think you should be making more.

Where are you from? I can’t tell you what the minimum wage is without knowing... but $5 seems very low and like you’re getting ripped off

Don’t undervalue yourself.
5£ an hour is way too low. I made 12£ just babysitting with no tutoring. Most people will underpay you because you’re young.
Try going to houses and ask if they need a math tutor with the following steps:
1) See if they have kids
2) better if you know them
3) ask if you can give their kids a ‘test’ math lesson for 5£ (make it 15-20 mins.) and see if the kids and parents like it, you’ll gain reputation. 
4) give them your number and ask for at least 10£

There is no minimum wage for 13 year olds to work! £5 an hour seems pretty reasonable for part time work at your age tutoring. In fact, I’m impressed they even hire 13yo to tutor children! 
You have to appreciate that older kids may have more experience, have negotiated etc- hence the higher rates.
Other stores might just choose to pay a certain rate, no place is obligated to pay everyone the same. Sometimes bad things also happen like sexism where one sex gets paid more than an equal colleague of the opposite gender (which is why companies have to publish something called a gender pay gap report)
Minimum wage for apprentices is something like £3.70
For 16-17 is £4.20
For 18 -20 is £5.90
21-24 is £7.38
25+ is £7.83
