So my ds is going to be 3 in June. I’m 21 weeks today with baby #2 and I’m conflicted on what to do. Baby 2 is a boy as well so I have everything left over from ds. I want him to have a birthday party and I want to celebrate this baby as well just not sure how to do it. Two others in my family are pregnant as well and due within a couple weeks of me. I don’t feel it would be right to invite people to a third baby shower in a few weeks plus ds birthday party. Since he’ll be 3 I’m thinking of just doing something special with him on his birthday and forgoing the party and thinking of a sprinkle or more like a cookout for baby 2 around the 4th of July (just parents and siblings and a couple friends). I think it would be tacky to have a second baby shower considering this one is a boy too. What are your opinions? Should I just do a small “sprinkle” but not label it that since we’re not looking to get gifts?
