High risk for trisomy 21 , takes forever to see hospital!!!

Hi all

I have already posted lately regarding high risk for trisomy 21. I was given a risk of 1:32. It was from NT scan combined with blood results. NT was 3.3mm, free beta hcg is as high as 3.584 MoM and papp-A 1.271 MoM. Scan showed normal morphology.

My concern and worry is that it's already more than week since I had my scan. My gp referred me to obstetric and high risk hospital and still I haven't received anything. I have kept calling them but they keep saying it might take a week or so. They check through their computers and tell me no referral arrived from my gp. I got my GP's receptionist send my referral once again last Friday. But the hospital still says no referrals for me yet.

Now they have given me another fax number asking me to request once again the gp to send to new num. I did that. But the lady there says she needs gp's sign for it, and it would take today late in the evening to get that and fax..I believe I would have to keep calling them again.

Sorry for the long story, I'm so worried and getting really stressed out. I'm currently 13w 4d and had my scan exactly at 12w.

Will I miss any of my tests because of this delay. I really don't have another option than to keep following.

Will this delay cause some trouble. ?
