My mom and I were shopping today, and somehow different sexualities came up. My mom isn’t exactly homophobic, but she does look down on people who aren’t straight. She thinks I’m straight, but I’m ace. Anyways, she says, “I’m fairly certain we’re in the clear with your brother, and you definitely don’t strike me as lesbian”. I just kinda laughed and agreed, but inside I was think, “Not lesbian, not straight, just ace. 👍”

What I’d give to have a parent who’d get it. 🙄
