Work or school? Help!

Question

I had my baby in January and I have been conflicted about whether I should go back to school first or go back to work and then school. My husband left his job to help me with the baby(I’m a first time mom btw). I’ve gotten used to being with the baby but we need an income.
 
I have been putting off going back to work or school out of fear of failure but now I have no excuse. I just don’t know what I should do. Any advice?

Depends on your financial position and childcare costs I guess. If I was in a position to be able to afford not to go back to work I probably wouldn’t. But if your husband isn’t working I can’t see that one newborn justifies two people not working tbh so I would say one of you should be working (unless you are otherwise wealthy and neither of you need to work then good for you !)

Tbh I was in your shoes. I chose to go back to work but then my kid started getting sick and I had to miss days of work and eventually they let me go. So my husband and I decided it was best for me just to stay home with my son and go to school to better my self. I’m going for my RN taking the last of my Pre Reqs will be applying to the program in January of next year.
