Which ovulation kits do you use?

Hello ttc for abou 13 months now! And nada! I feel like I'm always wrong on these ovulation kits. I've tried a few brands but nothing.  I've also downloaded the period tracker and it's always one to two days off. I sometimes feel like the line is not too dark or light.  Which ovulation kits have you used?

I use the Clearblue Advanced Ovulation Predictor Kit. It give a plain circle if low lh, flashing smiley face if you are at high lh and a solid smiley face that stays for 48 hours if you are at your peak fertility. I've been using it since August. I have a short luteal phase, 11 days. Not sure if that's the reason we haven't gotten pregnant yet or what.

When should I start testing for ovulation if my last cycle says it was 29 days. Should I start on day 12?

Clear blue digital because my internet cheapie a weren't working.

This cycle I made the switch to the Clearblue digital OPK, and I wish I would have done this a long time ago. It takes the guesswork completely out of the equation, and even tells you when your peak days are leading up to ovulation, so you can time BDing perfectly & give yourself the best chance possible! I bought mine at Walmart for about 30 bucks, and with 20 test sticks, there's plenty to have me covered for next cycle too! Hoping it doesn't come to that tho as it would be AWESOME to get a BFP this cycle... In my TWW now!
