Opinion please

So my period is 5 days late and I’ve started to get a lot of thin very white discharge, is this just a sign for my period just being late and about to come on? Has anyone else had this? I’ve never normally been concerned with my discharge but I seem to be getting a fair bit at the moment. Thanks
