What allergy meds to take while nursing

What did you take for seasonal allergies while nursing? Baby is 4.5 months old and doesn’t like the bottle. I can’t risk my supply drying up. Some say Benadryl is fine and some say it will dry up the supply.

Technically all allergy meds are antihistamines because blocking the overproduction of histamines is how allergies are treated. You could try a nasal allergy spray like Nasacort and Flonase. Those do work a little differently so you may have less of a chance of supply issues

I thought benadryl was fine while pregnant, but is an antihistamine so commonly could dry you up. I took loratadine while nursing without issues, but it's technically considered an antihistamine. Just depends on how ya react to it 🤷 sorry.
