Confused!!!!!

my last period started 10th march.... i went to the hospital yesterday afternoon coz i was cramping quite a bit in my left lower abdomen.....they did pregnancy blood test and got positive but very little amount of hcg 45.7 only. Its too early.....does transvaginal ultrasound detect anything at this stage????
