First Midwife Appointment, what to expect?

Tomorrow I have my first Midwife appointment, I will be 15 weeks and 5 days and this is my first pregnancy. I have no idea what to expect and would like to have a bit of an insight

My first appointment was super laid back! We just went over my medical history, fears/concerns, questions, etc. 
Then they drew some blood for labs and tried to listen to baby’s heartbeat with the Doppler. I’m sure all birth centers are different but I can’t imagine it will be anything major. :) 
If you don’t mind me asking, are you planning to do a home birth? That’s my plan so I’d love to add you so I have someone to talk to about the process. Lol

My first midwife appointment was very laid back also. 
Went through medical history took my stats and then we got to hear her heartbeat. 
This is my first baby too! So far I’ve loved the birth center experience vs. the OB office vibes. Midwifes are often so kind and really take the time to get to know you.
