Baby smells like maple syrup?

He is 10 months and I noticed yesterday that he smells like syrup??? Anyone else’s babies do this?

Does he eat puffs? I notice that after my baby eats some of the Gerber puffs (sweet potato, one of the maple ones) everything smells like them!

Uh is your babies pee yellow at all? Babies can smell sweet if they have a infection or dehydrated. I know it sounds weird but when my oldest would get sick (she has a week amine system ) she would smell sweet when she was little
