Who are you to tell me not to touch her

Rant ! So we were at my MIL's house and my sister in law was carrying my baby and my baby is the type to cry when someone other than her dad , I or my family holds her so I noticed my baby making a pout face and I immediately got up to touch her face and tell her it's okay and my MIL said to me " no don't touch her " I guess because she thought I was going to take my baby from my sister in law . But  Ummm even if I was who are you to tell me to not touch MY daughter !!!! Seriously she is so damn stupid like i'm her mom I have the right to take her back from anyone that's holding her whenever the hell I feel like it 
I swear if that lady tells me some shit like that again I will tell her off i'm tired of always having to keep quiet because my husband says that if i'm ever mean to his mom or say anything bad about her that he will get so pissed at me like i'm sorry your mom is sooo perfect ..... NOT 😒 i'm so tired of her shit someone please punch her for me rant over .

Your husband needs to stand by you, not his mom. In-laws and really anyone could say something you don't like at anytime but your husband is wrong for threatening you when he should be on your side.

I would have told her to find a seat and sit there before I knock her there! Thats MY baby! I carried her for 9 months, i had morning sickness, heartburn, uncontrollable peeing and emotions! she can suck a big one!!

Haha I would have turned and looked at her with the most stone cold face ever and said excuse me?! She is my daughter and I'll touch her if I want to.
My brother tried to tell me not to tell my son he needed to put on his jacket and boots in the middle of winter so we could take the bus home. I yelled at him and said pretty much the same thing and my mum said to me your being rude and need to relax. Like fuck you. It's 10pm at night, my son is 1 1/2 years old and it's snowing/raining and we need to go home and catch the bus. Yah I'll do as I please with my child.
