First gynecologist visit help?

Ok so I’m 16 years old, almost 17. I’ve been sexually active (sex once a month) for about 9 months now. The past few months my cycle lengths have been increasing, almost at 50 days. 
I told my mom I want to get on birth control to straighten it out, so she’s gonna take me to the gynecologist to see what they suggest.
When I go to the gynecologist, I will have not have had sex for well over a month, and I ended my period about a week ago. Therefore, obviously I’m not pregnant. So if I tell the gynecologist this even though I’m sexually active, will they still take a pregnancy test?
If they take a pregnancy test or give me a Pap smear, will they be written out on the bill for my mom to see? I don’t want her to know I have had sex even though we waited a long time to lose our virginities and we’re the closest people to each other. I’m scared and don’t know what to do, please help. :(

I don’t think that they will tell your mother. You could ask but you will need a pregnancy test regardless if you’re asking about birth control to be safe

Don't worry about your mom.
You need to be 100%  honest with your doctor.
They do pregnancy tests before giving birth control when you're sexually active. 
Since you're sexually active, you need to get std testing done too

I never had to take a pregnancy test before being given the pill...may e not every doctor does this?

My doctor tried to get me to take a pregnancy test even though I was a virgin and on my period, and I had to explain this multiple times throughout the appointment. You could just say that if it shows up on your mom's bill, but from my understanding that is a "lab test" and they usually code those in weird ways so that if someone were to get a hold of your results that shouldn't have, they won't immediately understand what it says unless they look it up or have had it themselves.

I’m pretty sure they will just make you take a pregnancy test. That’s typically common practice for anyone going on birth control, I think. Even if you say you aren’t sexually active they’ll still have you do it. It’s for liability reasons and because teenagers tend to lie about that lol. I would imagine they would have the procedures on the bill but you can tell them you’re worried about confidentiality. Or you could just tell your mom they made you have it done anyway. Tell her it’s just their policy for anyone starting on birth control to have a pap done first.
