My new horizon has come. π
I am in so much shock right now. Over come with so much joy and love for this new little blessing to come. My little saving grace. My light at the end of the tunnle.
Back in November I was diagnosed with a Chronic brain illness called Idiopathic intracranial hypertension, aka, IIH. My spinal fluid built up very high, and my body was unable to absorb it correctly. So the spinal pressure built up and ended up putting pressure on my optical nerve causing me to go blind. The hospital didn't believe me so I was stuck like this for almost two weeks before they finally took me seriously. 3 spinal taps, 3 MRIs, two brain surgeries, and two weeks in the nuro ICU later, I was able to regain most of the vision in my right eye... however my left eye was gone.. and the vision in my right eye was poor to begin with sadly. So I can see, but sadly not to awful great. I will never be able to drive.
Shortly after coming home from the hospital I fell pregnant. This was a HUGE blessing. We were trying before I got sick, and nothing was working. Sadly shortly after I found out, I had a miscarriage... I imagine my body hadn't healed enough from the trauma is had just endured, and it needed time to heal..
well my beautiful ladies. My saving Grace has come. My new horizon. My light at the end of the tunnle. β€ I am approximately 5weeks and 2 days pregnant... we are getting married June 1st and are predicted to have this baby in December..
When I say that I am overjoyed.. ladies I am SO thrilled that God decided to bless me. I am so thankful he gave me enough vision to be able to see my babies face when they're born. And the doctors say that now I'm pregnant, the baby will absorb the extra spinal fluid. And I will most likely go into remission. ππ β€ all Glory be to God!
Prayers for a safe pregnancy and delivery. Baby dust to you all.
