Kitten help!!
There is a stray cat that stays around my house, because I feed her. She’s been around for about a year, at first she would run as soon as anyone went outside, but over the year we’ve gained a lot of trust from her, but she is still timid and cautious. She will willingly come inside to eat if she is real hungry but she goes right back outside after eating and doesn’t want to spend time hanging out inside. Even with the nice spring weather, we’ve left the doors open and she doesn’t come inside, she will just hangout on the back porch.
She had kittens 2 weeks ago, and she is a great mom. She stays with them all day except to come eat once in the morning and once at night. And I take food to her at least once a day too, but she’s with the kittens when i do. We’ve had really nice weather the last 2 weeks and she’s got them in a safe hiding spot, so I haven’t been worried about them. But tomorrow night it is going to get cold, a low of 37 degrees fahrenheit, and stay chilly for a few days. I’m worried that it’ll be too cold for the kittens outside. Anyone know for sure if that’s too cold or not?
I would just bring them inside, but I’m not sure how the mother would react to it. I don’t want her to freak out if I bring her inside. Any advice or tips please?
