7 or 8 months?

Im 31 weeks today and i thought i was 7 months and 3 weeks, but according to the chart it says im 8 months. What week do you consider 8 months?

Ok the chart is saying you’re in your 8th month, but you haven’t actually been pregnant for 8 months until the end of the 8th month. 
Like if you have to wait somewhere for an hour, between 9 and 10, you wouldn’t say “I’ve been here for an hour” when it’s only 9:15. You’d wait until it was 10pm. 
There are 4.3 weeks in a month, so at 31 weeks you have been pregnant for 7 months and a week, and you are in the 8th month of pregnancy.

Depends on if you are using a 9 or 10 month pregnancy if you are using a 9-month this chart is correct if you are using a 10 month (4weeks per month) you will get a different

The chart. Every month isn't exactly 4 weeks. It's actually an average of 4 weeks 3 days. So 31 weeks divided by 4 is 7 months 3 weeks but when you add in those extra couple days every month you get 8 months.
