I would recommend getting a fee newborn just in case. We assumed we would start at size 1 because he was estimated at 8pounds. Well he’s a month in 2days and he’s still in newborn diapers. My mom was visiting and had to go out and get us newborn diapers since we didn’t have any.

They aren’t always accurate on weight. My daughter was born 7 lbs 8oz and went through about 2 boxes of nb. They will lose weight after birth too.
