Do you get anxious about other people holding your baby??

My dad's girlfriend is holding my son right now and I'm making this post to distract myself from the urge to take him back yikes 😬😬😬

I don’t get anxiety but I feel possessive like I want to hold him if I’m just sitting there 😂

I only get anxiety when it's not my family 😅 if it's the in law family I'm on the edge of my seat.

So my baby isn’t due for 8 weeks and I already have anxiety about it.

I honestly didn’t let many people hold my baby until she had full support of her body. My SO’s aunt said we were keeping her from seeing her great niece but we told her we weren’t comfortable with her holding her.

No. It was a welcome relief.  My daughter liked (and still likes) to be held all the time. My body can only do so much before it gets tired. And in the newborn days, my back would hurt from being hunched over her all the time. 
Of course, that’s assuming it’s someone trustworthy (and no one who isn’t trustworthy would be holding my baby).

I don't usually mind if they're family and I can see her, but when someone takes her out of the room I get very anxious and I just keep thinking "bring her back" till they come back in with her lol. She doesn't tolerate being held by others very long so I guess that's lucky (and a tad unlucky 😂) me.

LOL YES😂😂 my boyfriend’s brother’s fiancé has NO idea how to hold a baby. When my daughter was 2 months old she just sat her up on her lap like she was 6 months!! Her neck was all rolling and everything 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I get really nervous if it’s my BILs who are 18/23 because they don’t have tons of experience. And dreading my bridal shower/ Easter because I don’t want her passed around and to try to police who doesn’t smell like smoke or been sick. I’ll probably pretend she is nursing most the time 😂

I used to get like that with my my first baby and I am sure I will be like that with my second as well

I'm not gonna be letting a ton of people touch my kid before he or she has some robustness about her or him. Germs+ less than careful family+ delicate newborn baby= not my cup of tea
