I'm pregnant with number 2, and have a question.
When I got pregnant with my first child, I didn't know much about the difference between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. It was right before I turned 22, and I didn't read all about pregnancy or join different groups. When my son was born, I chose to bottle feed him. It's what was done in my family and husband's family. Nobody breastfed! Now that I'm pregnant with number 2, 5 months away from 27, I'm thinking about breastfeeding, but, I know nothing about it. I'm also worried cause I have so many things wrong with my body and I'm prescribed pain pills. I'm worried about them going to the baby if I breastfeed. I've been on them since age 19, and when I was pregnant with my first my O.B told me it was fine to continue taking them up until I gave birth. I stopped a few months before my son was due. It was the most miserable time in my life, I couldn't get out of bed, but, I plan on doing the same thing with this one. Back to the breastfeeding though. Is it safe to continue to take them and breastfeed? Please don't be rude about my decision to continue to take my medication, all of my doctor's say it's ok, plus I literally cannot get out of bed and goto the bathroom without them.
