Does Phoenix sound good with the name Maverick?

I have a son named Maverick and we're looking for a name to sound just as different and strong for our baby boy due in October. I saw the name Phoenix and I fell in love. I'm just wondering if it's too out there. And if it doesn't sound quite right with Maverick. As a nickname I call Maverick- Mav and for Phoenix- Nix. Let me know what you think.😊

Love it!!!
I named my dog Maverick and called him Mav. It was literally my favorite name at the time and I was 16, so I gave it to my dog 🙈
I think Phoenix sounds amazing with it, and I love the NN Nix!

Why do they need to sound "good" together? It's not like you're making one the middle name for the other. Your sons are individuals, give them the names you want. 🤨
