When did your babies crawl?

My 5 month old baby girl wants to crawl so badly 😂 I was just wondering when all your babies started crawling and if there’s something I can do to help her.

I’m using my 9 year old black lab Luna as incentive to move forward as that’s my baby’s favourite ‘toy’ 🥰

My LO did the army crawl at 5 months up until 7 months. He became pretty damn quick at it but it wasn't quick enough for him so he decided it was time to crawl on his hands and knees and was like a bullet. I'd blink and he would be gone lol 😂

Every baby is different :) my daughter is 11 months and just started crawling a month ago. Before that she went backwards, she sat well and turned in circles. I give her lots of independent floor play. I showed her how to be up on all fours, I put favorite toys out of reach, snacks, and things I don’t normally give her to entice her ( like dadas keys, video game controller, tv remote etc..) And one day she just started moving - it was for her magic tracks - she loves her racetrack lol

Our daughter was using her toes to push herself forward on the ground st 5 months and by 5.5 months she started crawling with her knees to the ground. We just kept showing her that her knees should be under her body and would put then under her. Not sure if it actually helped or not or if she just figured it out on her own haha

Son did a dragging/army crawl from about 6 months to 7.5 months. Then slowly got into the crawling position, he now can crawl a bit but then decides laying down and dragging himself is easier lol he’s also way more interested in pulling himself up using anything he sees.

My daughter started crawling around 5 months but didn’t actually sit up unassisted until about 7 months... weird I know

Thanks for the comments. My LO is five months old and is showing no interest in moving- Dispite the fact that he is huge for his age and very vocal.

I would say my lo was 6-7 months old and yep we used the cats to motivate her
