Maternity underwear?

Have you bought maternity underwear? Which do you like best? I see there's fold over, over the bump, and under the bump? I can't tell which would be best for me, as my body doesn't compare to the "pregnant" models. I had a belly before the baby, though I am only 5'2" and 135lb. Any suggestions? I feel like under the bump underwear would accentuate the "fat roll".

I will never understand the concept of "maternity" underwear. I wore my normal underwear through all 40 weeks of pregnancy. I never bought anything new or maternity or anything like that.

With my first I didn’t but this time I sewed myself some low- rise cross front bamboo undies and they’ve changed my life haha they’re so comfortable.

I way prefer the under bump. The fold over kind just got bunchy and didn't feel very good.

It’s all about your comfort. I bought both and by the end I ended up with maternity underwear. It doesn’t fold over and so comfortable.

I feel like maternity underwear aren’t necessary, I just wear spandex type ones and fold them over if need be

I didn’t get anything special just normal new underwear bigger of course. If you go for maternity I would go with what you think you’d feel comfortable with. I don’t like anything over my belly so the ones that go that high I wouldn’t get.
