So my ex has custody of my daughter and I have visitation. I was told by my grandma that he has court papers for me. I don't know what they're for, but my grandma said he's going to try to get me to not have visitation or any parental rights to her. I'm freaking out. He only won custody of her by default because he never informed me of court dates I was supposed to attend. We don't live in the same state. He lives in CA and I live in AL. I'm so scared that he will serve me with these papers and get my child taken away indefinitely. He has played so dirty this whole time and I'm so scared he will do it again. Is there any way I could get majority custody of my child again? Is there any way I can stop this nightmare????
