Stitches

I had my son a 27 days ago, no episiotomy just had some stitches inside, I had my husband take a peek because it felt like something was poking me. U can still see 2 knots from the stitches. Arent they supposed to be dissolved by now? Has anyone had to have it removed because it didn't dissolve all the way?
