This is a kind of stupid question but people feel so strongly about it which makes it fun to talk about.

What came first:

The chicken or the egg

I think the egg came first and this is my reasoning

There was a pre-chicken who laid a egg. That was a chicken egg Bc the chicken was in it. Therefore, the egg came first.

However, other people say that it is not a chicken until it is out of the egg. Therefore making the chicken itself coming first. There are other arguments as well.
