Tell me your story!?

39 weeks pregnant as of midnight, went into triage yesterday (because my doctor told me to) my Braxton-Hicks were 5 mins apart for 2 hours... they didn’t hurt and I didn’t want to go in but I listened to my doctor....no baby. 1cm dilated 80% effaced. Now I’ve been having contractions that are actually painful and causing lots of pressure.. they’re Braxton-Hicks still & not to the point where I can’t talk through them. I had some of my mucus plug come out today with a tiny bit of brown blood. I’ve been losing pieces of my mucus plug for weeks now. My husband and I just had sex to speed things along & I had my bloody show right after.. it was brownish pink but also mixed with his fluid so it was hard to tell how much. Any ideas about how soon this baby boy could come? Tell me your stories if they’re similar! I need something to read while I drink tons of water and try to walk off the contractions😁

I was almost a week overdue.... thought I was in labor,  went to hospital and sent home as well, telling me they were Braxtons.  I was scheduled to be induced a few days later when I hit 41 weeks. So I did the same,  had sex a couple times within the two days that followed my bogus hospital run,  and walked all day up and down the mall with my mom and around the community I lived in with my SO in the evening. I woke up around 7am having the same feeling of contractions I had the first time I thought I was in labor.  But instead of running to the hospital,  I filled the bathtub up with warm water and soaked.  My doctor told me if they go away in a couple hours,  then it is the Braxtons again.... but if they continue,  and become closer apart,  then head to hospital.  I did not want to get to hospital and be uncomfortable in a bed again attached to the IV only to be sent home again.  I spent more than 3, almost 4 hours in that tub until my contractions were less than 10 minutes apart.  Every so often I would add hot water to make it warm again. I hopped out and told my honey, who had woke up about two hours into my tub time, that it was time to head to the hospital.  We actually had to stop and put gas in the car on way there because he did not listen when I reminded him to do so the night before.  Within two hours of my hospital arrival,  I gave birth to my daughter.... ONE day BEFORE I was scheduled to be induced.  Total labor time including tub at home was 7 hours.  The ONLY thing was that because I chose to be more comfortable at home,  by the time I was in my hospital bed and attached to my IV, they checked me and said it was too late for an epidural. So I delivered her naturally without any drugs.  YES,  I felt it.... but the pain stopped completely the moment after that last push and she was quickly in my arms. 
I was also a week overdue with my first daughter and had her the night before my scheduled next morning inducement.  But she took about eight hours to come.... but because all eight were in the hospital,  I was given the epidural. Now,  looking back,  I would not be able to tell you which was worse.  The pain you feel,  at least for me,  stopped as soon as the last push was over and that first cry was heard.  Good luck sweetie! ♡

There’s no way to know how soon baby will come. Could be today could be 2 weeks from now.
