How many diapers?

Hi I’m 23 weeks and a FTM. I’m trying to get prepared with everything I need before baby gets here. I bought a box of 120 newborn diapers. I was wondering if that’s enough or should I get one more box? I also got a few boxes of size 1 as well. I’m going to be using honest diapers in the beginning. How long do babies stay in newborn diapers? Thank you everyone!

So my best advice besides any that are given to you is make yourself a "diaper savings" like buy a gift card or make yourself a piggy bank.   My store was super weird about returning diapers🙄 so I had some that went to waste 😵     I used a LOT of newborn diapers  but not everyone does.   Just set aside money for diapers and use it when you need it.  You'll likely get given diapers that you may or may not be able to exchange.

My daughter was 2 months a week ago and she just started using size 1 diapers in the last few days.  It really depends on your kid. Newborn diapers (I use up&up brand) go up to 10 lbs & she just got to 10 lbs on Wednesday.

With newborn diapers, you could use  none or like 8 or 120. Depends on the baby. Newborn are worn for the shortest amount of time. The bigger the size, the longer they are worn. I wouldn’t buy more newborn.

I bought only one box of 120 then will move to the size 1 diapers! This is my second baby. I’m pretty sure we only used one box for my son. He was born 6.14 and was in a size 2 fairly quickly!

I found that Honest diapers ran a bit bigger than some of the other brands, so you might want to pick up another small pack just in case. I used Pampers for newborn and we went through approximately 140 newborn, 300 size 1, 300 size 2. In the newborn stage they go through approximately 10-12 diapers a day.

Depends on your baby and their starting size and weight gain. But you shouldnt stock up on one kind of diaper, you dont know how your baby will react to them and how well theyll hold up to the baby. Instead, put the money you would have spent aside to save fir later so you dont spend $100s on diapers that don't work for you.

first of all I personally hate honest diapers they don't hold and my kids always leaked through but I wouldn't get any more newborn size diapers because you don't know how big your baby will be and they typically don't fit in newborns for very long. After newborn I would estimate them being in each size for about 3 to 4 months.
